Official addon · v1.0.8 · WPsigner Pro

One site, many signing emails.

WPsigner Email Profiles saves named groups of every WPsigner email, each with its own subject, design, and sender. Pick the group on a form feed, a WooCommerce feed, a campaign, or a single document, and the signer gets that brand's email from that brand's mailbox.

Requires WPsigner Pro 3.3.2.32 or newer. Download it from the WPsigner Account Portal → Addons.

What a profile holds

Every WPsigner email, under one name and one sender

A profile is a second set of the emails the site already sends. The first save copies your current site designs, so you only change what should look different.

Sender

Shared by the whole group

  • Profile name, which only you see in the dropdowns
  • Mailbox from your SMTP plugin
  • From name and From email the signer sees
  • A different sender can be picked on Review for one document

Site emails stay the default. A feed, campaign, or document left on Site default email keeps the normal WPsigner email and the site sender.

Setup

From install to first profile

There is no separate Email Profiles screen. Everything happens on Email Templates, the page you already use for WPsigner emails.

  1. 1

    Install the addon

With WPsigner Pro 3.3.2.32 or newer active, download WPsigner Email Profiles from Account → Addons, then upload and activate the ZIP.

  2. 2

    Create the profile

Go to WPsigner → More → Email Templates and click New profile. Enter a name, pick the mailbox, check From name, From email, and subject, then save.

  3. 3

    Change only what differs

Open Emails in [name] and edit any of the seven emails. Preview and Send Test use the email you have open, with sample names and a sample code.

  4. 4

    Choose it

Select the profile under Signing email on a feed, Confirmation email on a campaign, or Email template on Review.

Requirements

  • WPsigner Pro 3.3.2.32 or newer (not available in Lite)
  • WordPress 5.8+ and PHP 7.4+
  • Document Builder 1.5.23+ only if a Document Builder feed should use a profile
  • An SMTP plugin is optional, and one is enough

SMTP plugins it reads

WPsigner does not create mailboxes. Add the address in your SMTP plugin, reload Email Templates, and it appears under Mailbox.

Plugin What a profile can use
Fluent SMTP Each saved connection. Mail goes out through the connection that owns that address.
WP Mail SMTP The From address of the active connection, plus extra connections when the plugin exposes them.
Easy WP SMTP Same as WP Mail SMTP.
Post SMTP The sender saved in Post SMTP.

Profile or site email?

What changes when a feed uses a profile

Site emails remain the built-in set for the whole site. A profile only applies where you pick it.

— With a profile Site default email
Design That profile's copy of each email The built-in site email
Sender The profile's mailbox, From name, and From email The site sender
Applies to Feeds, campaigns, and documents where you pick it Everything else, including LearnDash course signing
Editing a site email Does not change a profile you already saved Changes that email wherever no profile is used
Deleting the profile Its feeds, campaigns, and documents go back to the site email Not affected

Questions

WPsigner Email Profiles is an addon by WPsigner. Fluent SMTP, WP Mail SMTP, Easy WP SMTP, Post SMTP, WPForms, Fluent Forms, Gravity Forms, Formidable Forms, Elementor, Contact Form 7, and WooCommerce are trademarks of their respective owners and are named only to describe compatibility.

Do I need an SMTP plugin?

No. Without one you can still type a From name and From email. Install Fluent SMTP, WP Mail SMTP, Easy WP SMTP, or Post SMTP if each profile should leave from a real mailbox. One of them is enough.

Does WPsigner create the mailbox?

No. Create the mailbox with your email host (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or your hosting), add it in the SMTP plugin, then reload Email Templates. It then shows under Mailbox.

Can Gmail or Outlook send from another address?

Usually not. They only accept mail from the account you signed in with. Brevo, Mailgun, SendGrid, and Amazon SES can send from another address on a domain you have verified with them.

Do signers see the profile name?

No. The name is only for you in the dropdowns. Signers see the design, the subject, and the From name and address.

Does it work with WPsigner Lite?

No. Email Profiles requires WPsigner Pro 3.3.2.32 or newer.

Is the verification code email part of the profile?

Yes, when the code is sent while signing a document that uses the profile. A code sent from a form before the document exists uses the site OTP design.

What happens to documents already created when I change a feed?

They keep the choice they had. The next document the feed creates uses the new profile.

What if I delete a profile?

Feeds, campaigns, and documents that used it go back to the site email until you pick another profile.

Where do I download it?

From the WPsigner Account Portal → Addons. Download links expire after about an hour, so return to the Addons tab if one fails.

Give each brand its own signing email

Download the addon, create a profile on Email Templates, and choose it on the next feed or document you send.
